Loretta Jane Cameron, age 75, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Roscommon.
Loretta was born December 14, 1946, in Fair Haven, Michigan, the daughter of Peter and Arrietta Cameron. She was well-known as the Purple Lady, her favorite color that she would frequently be dressed in. In her spare time, she liked to garden, regularly tending to her garden and rose bed. Loretta also enjoyed reading (especially mysteries and thrillers), as well as cooking and baking.
Loretta will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by children Sherry (Joe) Trierweiler, Dawn (Jeff) Fernandez, David (Cynthia) Hernandez II, and Michelle Hernandez; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Eddie Cameron; sisters Joanna Pierce and Jo Housewright; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and grandson Justin Kaczmarek; and brother Frank Camilleri.
Family and friends will gather for a funeral service at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors on Thursday, January 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Masks will be required for the visitation and service.
