Jacci Pothoof, 60, of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday January 27, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home.
Jacci was born on March 4, 1961 in San Diego, California. Jacci graduated from Spring Arbor University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management, then later with her Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership in 2020. Jacci worked as a Financial Servicer for North Central Area Credit Union, starting as a Teller in 1985 and retiring as CEO in 2021. Jacci was married to Douglas Pothoof in 1987, celebrating their 34th anniversary in 2021. Jacci was a member of the Toll Free Foundation (West Branch) and served on their board, the Blue OX Chapter of Credit Unions, serving as Charter Chairperson. She supported various local organizations and enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, family (especially her grandchildren), MSU Sports, and was an avid movie watcher.
Survivng Jacci are her loving husband of 34 years, Douglas Pothoof of Houghton Lake; Children, Christina (Canis) Arbrouet, Kathryn (Michael) Thompson, and Robert Corson; five Grandchildren, Hunter, Lucas, Logan, Marcus, and Brooklynn; Great Grand Daughter, Caroline; and her Mother, Margaret Wyckoff. Jacci was preceded in death by her Sister, Myra Vitale.
Funeral Services for Jacci will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2021 at Christler Funeral Home, 6651 W. Houghton Lake Dr. Houghton Lake, MI 48629, at 11:00am with a visitation starting at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home – Houghton Lake Chapel. Memorial contributions in memory of Jacci are asked to be directed to your favorite local charity.
