Diana L Kapagian, 85, of West Branch and formerly of Prudenville

Diana L Kapagian, 85, of West Branch and formerly of Prudenville, passed away on Saturday January 29, 2022 at The Brook of West Branch.


Diana was born on February 15, 1936 in Griffith, Indiana to Clyde and Mary (Ostring) Whiteley. She grew up moving several times with her family.  She settled in Roscommon and  in 1985 moved to Prudenville. Diana attended Kirtland Community College where she received her Associates Degree. Diana was married on May 31, 1985 in Roscommon, Michigan to Vahan Kapagian. Diana worked as a Librarian for Kirtland Community College retiring in 1987.  She was a Past Matron of the Eastern Star in Tawas, member of  the Roscommon County Genealogical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and International Brick Collectors Association. She spent most of her time actively involved in her organizations. Diana also loved to go camping.

Surviving Mrs. Kapagian are her two daughters, Lisa (Dan) Picot of Roscommon, and Cheryl (Brian) Farmer of Cadillac; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sister, Cheryl Whiteley of West Branch.  Diana was preceded in death by her parents;  husband, Vahan Kapagian; daughter, Dawn Reynolds. 


At the request of Mrs. Kapagian, no services will be conducted.  Memorial contributions in memory of Diana are asked to be directed to the Roscommon County Genealogical Society. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
