He touched the lives of many in his work as a teacher (he was his daughter Sue’s math teacher in her 9th grade).  He loved his family and loved attending family reunions, he loved watching his beloved Detroit Tigers, taking time for fishing, hunting and golf, playing horseshoes and watching old westerns. He took great pride in tending to his backyard and his garden, and one of his very favorite things was a toasted tomato sandwich with tomatoes he had grown.

The Grayling Lion’s Club was very near and dear to Bob and he worked tireless hours fundraising and serving the community as a Lion.  Lion Bob was District Governor of District 11-E2 from July 1, 2003 until June 30, 2004.
