Norman Henry Spinelli, age 88, of Grayling, died on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at his home and in the presence and comfort of his family.
Norm was born July 5, 1932 in Detroit, the son of Herman and Margaret (Conti) Spinelli. He married Irene Stillwell on June 12, 2004.
Norm loved his work in law enforcement and had many friends in that career that he considered family. He became ordained in 2015. When he was younger, Norm liked to detail cars. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music.
Norm will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Irene; children Norman (Kathy) Spinelli, Jr., of Warren, and Jacob and Andrew Perry of Grayling; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; pets Tommy and Nibbe; as well as many cousins and friends.
Norm is preceded in death by his parents; former wife Kathleen Spinelli; sons Tony Spinelli, Jimmy Spinelli, and Norman Spinelli, II.
A celebration of Norm’s life will be held at Beaver Creek Township Hall on Saturday, May 1, starting at 12 noon.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Norm’s name to his family for future designation.
