Norbert A. “Bert” Darling, age 66, of Comins, Michigan, passed away at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland on Monday, April 19, 2021.
Bert was born in Warren, Michigan on January 17, 1955 to Roy and Delphine (Plotzke) Darling. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan. Bert worked for Ford Motor Company-Sterling Heights Plant. He settled in Comins, Michigan and worked in Lewiston. Bert was a Past President of the Comins Eagles, and was also a member of the N.W.T.F. He enjoyed watching old movies and taking care of his pets
Bert is survived by his sisters: Cecelia (Roger) Price of Haslett, MI and Barbara Darling; his brother Frank (Martha) Darling of Comins, MI; his sister-in-law Carol Darling of Sterling Heights, MI; his beloved dog “Winter”; and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Thomas.
Visitation on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 9 AM – 1 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Hedy Alcock officiating. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the services.
