Susan Diane Reffitt, 55, of Prudenville passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2020 at her home.
Susan was born on August 2, 1965 in Wayne County, Michigan, moving to the Houghton Lake area from Dearborn Heights when she was nine years of age. She graduated from Houghton Lake Community Schools. She was married in Houghton Lake on May 7, 1983 to Dennis B. Reffitt. Susan worked as a baker at the Hub Supermarket for several years. She later worked in the kitchen at the Gladwin Hospital and the Grayling Hospital. Susan enjoyed gardening, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Her special love was her family and spending time with them.
Surviving Mrs. Reffitt are her loving husband of 37 years, Dennis Reffitt; daughter, Keina (Avery) Adams of Prudenville; three sons, Kole (Britany) Reffitt of West Branch, Kevin Reffitt of Prudenville, and Kyle (Laurie Ranney)) Reffitt of Houghton Lake; granddaughter, Levee Reffitt; father, Arnold Black of Thompsonville; sister, Denise Ancel of Houghton Lake; brother, Bill Black of Houghton Lake; nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Marie Engle.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Susan Diane Reffitt will be held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.
