Robert R. Riggs, 84, of Roscommon passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities in Bay City.
Robert was born on January 8, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Herman and Mary (Berejen) Riggs. He grew up in the Detroit area and graduated from high school in Detroit. Robert served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked as a welder for Ford Motor Company from which he retired. Robert was a member of American Legion.
Surviving Mr. Riggs are his three nieces, and many friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services for Robert R. Riggs have been conducted at Crestview Cemetery, Markey Township. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert are asked to be directed to the Cartel Inns of Tri-Cities, 6700 Westside Saginaw Rd, Bay City, MI 48706 .
