St. Helen Bluegill Festival cancelled due to Covid

To the editor:

It is with heavy hearts that the Board Of Directors has decided to cancel this years Bluegill Festival June 11th – 13th 2020.

We have thought about all of our options and with the health and safety of the community in our minds, we feel this is the right thing to do.

As a board we put in a lot of effort in planning and organizing our Festival and with the current situation we are all in has hindered our final push till Festival time. This years Theme of Star-wars will be carried over to next year.

At this time we would also like to add that the Grand Marshall we selected this year will be honored next year as well. We also would like to add that we don’t want this year to be completely lost, so we will be planning a few summer events as well. We will update with those decisions as we get them.

We want to thank all of you for your continued support and we will be back next year with a bigger and better festival. Thank You All, President, Herb Tyson
