Elizabeth Rosalinde Arreola of Roscommon

Elizabeth Rosalinde Arreola, age 69, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Traverse City, Michigan in the presence and comfort of her husband, Louis and friends.

Liz was born February 2, 1950 in Nurnberg, Germany, the daughter of Jazeps and Erna (Badersbach) Pakers.

Liz married Louis Arreola on September 1, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan.

Liz was also known as “Lilly and also “Baudie” which was given to her by her God-daughter, Sue.  Liz will be remembered for being high spirited and appreciating many aspects of life.  Liz enjoyed listening to classical music.  She loved to read.  She enjoyed needle point.  She taught Yoga. Liz enjoyed shooting sports and social events.  Liz was a collector of Nutcrackers and turkeys.  She loved European Soccer.         

Liz will be greatly missed by family and friends.  She is survived by her beloved husband Louis; her sister Diane Lupo of Sterling Heights, Michigan; sister-in-law Sharon Pakers of Berkley, Michigan; Louis’ brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Henry Pakers, her sister Judy Pakers.

            Family and friends will gather on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.

The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Liz’s name to Boystown, USA and the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
