Roger Thomas Lindsey, 66, of Prudenville passed away on Monday Oct. 1, 2018 at home.
Roger was born on December 5, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Daisy Lindsey. Roger grew up in the Taylor, Michigan area where he graduated from high school. He worked as a machinist for Ford Motor Company and other machine shops in the Detroit area. Roger moved from Belleville to Prudenville in 2007.
He enjoyed golfing, playing video games and watching movies and he was an avid football and hockey fan and loved his Red Wings..
Surviving Mr. Lindsey are his two daughters, Donelle (Michael) Vargo of Lake City, and Buffy (Jake) Monahan of Petoskey; two sons, George “Buddy” Baker of Lake City, and Jason (Tanya) Lindsey of Ypsilanti; 11 grandchildren, Zander Baker, Austin Baker, Andrew Baker, Cody Worley, Jeffery Miller, Rebecca Rheaume, Jacob Vargo, Parker Monahan, Madison Monahan, Jocelyn Lindsey and Kadence Lindsey; one great grandchild, Noah Anthony.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Zackary Lovelace; and daughter, Katrina Horvath.
Memorial Services for Roger Thomas Lindsey will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday Oct. 13, 2018 at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton lake Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday Oct. 13, 2018 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Christler Funeral Home – Houghton Lake Chapel.
