Marilyn Margaret Anderson

Marilyn Margaret Anderson, 82, of Roscommon passed away March 13, 2018 at Horizon Senior Living, St. Helen.

Marilyn was born in Flint Aug. 7, 1935 to Stanley Bartlett and Mary E. (Dickinson) Baker. She married Robert Treichel June 7, 1955 in Lansing. On Dec. 4, 1971 she married James Anderson in Lansing.

Marilyn resided in Roscommon for three years; Lansing for six months; Palmetto, FL for 15 years; Algonac for many years; and was raised in Lansing.

Marilyn was a financial manager for Michigan National Bank in Algonac and Port Huron for over 30 years. She retired in 1996 and moved to Florida.

She was a past member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fair Haven.

Marilyn enjoyed golf, cards, walking and all outdoor activities. She was blessed with 3 step- daughters whom she loved as her own and taught them strength and independence.

Surviving are three step-daughters, Renee Anderson of AZ, Teresa (Scott Hess) Henry-Hess of Roscommon and Susan (Jeffrey) Goulette of Romeo; three grandchildren, Andrea (Lance) Cherven, Ashley (Tyler) Ruegsegger and Michael Hess; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Baker of Las Vegas, NV and John Baker of Holt; sister, Dianne L. Mitchell of Lansing; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Robert Treichel and James Anderson.

Private services will be held later.

Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Twp.

Walsh Funeral Home Roscommon is serving the family.
