Keegan Daniel Samkowiak of Prudenville

Keegan Daniel Samkowiak, age 14, of Prudenville passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw.

Keegan was born on December 1, 2003 in Port Huron, Michigan to Jason (Tina) Samkowiak. He was a student at the Houghton Lake Community Schools and Roscommon Community Schools. He enjoyed basketball and being outdoors doing all activities, such as hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and snowmobiling. Keegan was a Gift of Life donor so others may be helped and saved.

Keegan is survived by his parents; Jason (Tina) Samkowiak of Prudenville, sister; Isabella Samkowiak of Prudenville; paternal Grandmother; Korki (Daniel) Hopkins of Prudenville; paternal Grandfather; Gary (Sharon) Samkowiak of Florida; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.

Memorial Services for Keegan will be conducted at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel on Thursday February 1, 2018 at 6 pm. The family will greet friends from 4 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm on Thursday. Memorial contributions in memory of Keegan are asked to be directed to the Artesia Youth Park.
