Lorraine Kaye Clewley Schilling, 83, of Higgins Lake, died Nov. 20, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.

Lorraine was born in Lansing Sept. 2, 1934 to Walter Adelebert and Margaret (Angstman) Pritchard.

Lorraine married Joseph R. Clewley on June 18, 1960 in Lansing and he died Aug. 13, 2013, she married Carl F. Schilling on Nov. 30, 2013 in Houghton Lake and he died Dec. 22, 2015.

Lorraine resided in Higgins Lake since 1972, coming from Lansing.

Lorraine was a secretary/bookkeeper for the DNR in Roscommon and Camp Shawono and Camp Nokomis. With her husband, Joseph, they owned and operated Industrial Control Resources in Houghton Lake.

Lorraine was a Red Hatter. She enjoyed bowling, horses, dining out, euchre and musical instruments. Her greatest joy was her family and friends.

Surviving are five children, Laurie Tupper of Holland, Teresa Clewley of Higgins Lake, Russell (Mary) Clewley of Bay City, Joseph (Kari) Clewley of Bay City and Jamie (Chris) Anderson of Opelika, AL; 10 grandchildren, Erin Tupper and fianc+¬, Phil DeVries, Jen (Gerrit) Gritters, Perri (Clayton) Nicholson, Ashley and Daniel Clewley, Kyler and Braden Clewley, Alexandra and Wesley Dunn and Samuel Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Lucie and Colton Gritters and Isaac Nicholson; and brother, Charles Pritchard of Lansing.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Joseph R. Clewley and Carl F. Schilling; brother, John Pritchard, and two sisters, Jane Coopes and Lois Wilson.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wed., Nov. 29 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Higgins Lake, with Fr. Bernard Tyler officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Higgins Lake.

The family will receive friends at Walsh Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. On Wednesday they will receive friends at St. Hubert Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’ Research Hospital, P.O. 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38101-9908.
