Ardis L. Jordan, 88, of Houghton Lake passed away March 30, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on February 8, 1929 in Lake City to Carl and Sarah (McBride) Jordan. She grew up in the Houghton Lake area graduating from Houghton Lake Community Schools
Mrs. Jordan was employed as a general office manager and bookkeeper for DJ Trucking and Snowbowl Restaurant. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, and Pen and Pallet Artist Guild of Higgins Lake.
Surviving are her son, Terrance (Tina) DeHoff of Houghton Lake; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers; and one sister.
At the request of Mrs. Jordan no service will be conducted. Memorial contributions in memory of Ardis are asked to be directed to the Community of Christ Church.
