Elaine Louise Boucher Ameluxen of Roscommon

Elaine Louise Boucher Ameluxen, 80 of Roscommon passed away May 16, 2016 at Hilltop Manor Health Care Center.

She was born in Detroit on May 7, 1936 to John H. Nankervis and Loretta H. Storkel and resided in Grosse Isle prior to her move to Roscommon in 1970. She married Bradner R. Ameluxen on October 16, 1976 in Roscommon.

Mrs. Ameluxen was employed by the Crawford County Department of Human Services for 18 years as office manager and clerical supervisor, retiring in 1990.

She enjoyed needlepoint, traveling and keeping travel logs.

Surviving are her husband, Bradner; four children, Timothy (Kris) Boucher of Lake Wales, FL, Jeffrey (Melissa) Boucher of Roscommon, Cynthia Boucher of Fenton and Gregory Boucher of Lake Wales, FL; six step-sons, Jim (Marsha) Ameluxen of Minneapolis, MN, Jeff (Lynn) Ameluxen of Lake Ann, John (Leah) Ameluxen of Denver, CO, Kevin Ameluxen of Roscommon, Dan Ameluxen of Delano, MN and Tom (Jackie) Ameluxen of Wichita Falls, TX; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Thomas (Stephanie) Nankervis and Joyce Turin, both of Grosse Isle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jackie Nankervis and sister, Shirley Sterns.

Funeral services were at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, officiated by Pastor Nancy Bresette. Burial will be at Roscommon Village Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon.
