ROSCOMMON COUNTY – The Roscommon County Sherrif’s Office in investigating a sexual assault complaint involving a Roscommon man.
On Aug. 15 the office began an investigation into a possible Criminal Sexual Conduct complaint. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate in conjunction with the Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center.
The investigation was turned over to the Roscommon County Prosecutors Office; and on Aug. 18 Jeremy Warren Heisler, a 44-year-old man from Roscommon, was charged with:
- 1 Count of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree
- 2 Counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct 3rd Degree
- 2 Counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct 4th Degree
Heisler was arraigned in the 82nd District Court in Roscommon by Judge Mary Beebe and is pending additional court hearings.
This is an ongoing investigation. The listed charges were issued from alleged forcible contact with a 13-year-old child.
