REGION – The Commission on Aging will be hosting two blood drives with Michigan Blood. The first drive will be Feb 8, 2018, 1 – 6 p.m. at the Roscommon Center located at 510 South Street, Roscommon MI. The second drive will be Feb 28 1 – 6 p.m. at the St Helen Center located at 10493 E. Airport Rd, St Helen.
Donating blood with Michigan Blood helps save the lives of patients in Michigan hospitals. Any healthy person 17 or older (16 with parental consent) who weighs 112 pounds may be eligible to donate, although females age 18 and under must weigh 120 pounds or more. Donors should bring photo ID. There is an urgent need of O-negative blood donations.
