Crawford County organizations hope for a ‘Giving’ Tuesday

CRAWFORD COUNTY – #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Join the Crawford AuSable Daycare & Preschool, the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter, and the Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center during the worldwide #GivingTuesday movement and help redefine the giving spirit this holiday season. Giving Tuesday Northeast Michigan Community Foundation is Nov. 27. For that 24-hour period, we hope you will support these nonprofit organizations in our communities whose staff, volunteers and donors give each and every day to make where we live the place we love to be!

The services they provide to the local area are vital to the community and on Nov. 27 there is potential to create a huge amount of support for these three agencies in a 24-hour period.

Those who are interested in joining the #GivingTuesday initiative can visit the Northeast Michigan Community Foundation’s website at www.cfnem.org/givingtuesday on Nov. 27 from 12 a.m. midnight to 11:59 p.m. Look up these nonprofits and click on them to make your Giving Tuesday gift. Then, tell your family and friends!

If you do not have internet access you can drop off your donation on Nov. 27 during their office hours and your gift will still count towards #GivingTuesday!
