GRAYLING – Crawford County painted its world purple July 9 during its annual American caCncer Society Relay for Life event.
For the second year in a row, the event was hosted at the Grayling City Park in downtown Grayling. Fourteen teams registered for the event, with more than 100 participants striving to reach the goal of $30,000 for cancer research.
Thanks to the community, sponsors, volunteers, and all of the participants, the goal was surpassed by more than $2,500 with a 100 percent participation from all of the teams.
