CADILLAC — The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, working in conjunction with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, has announced the arrest of Brandon Kelly, 34, of Cadillac. Kelly has been charged with multiple offenses related to child sexually abusive material and the use of a computer to commit a crime.
According to an MSP news release, the investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) submitted a tip that led authorities to Kelly. As a result of the investigation, digital evidence was seized from Kelly’s residence.
Kelly faces the following charges:
One count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material,
One count of possession of child sexually abusive material, and
One count of using a computer to commit a crime.
He was arraigned in the 84th Judicial District Court on Thursday, April 10.
