PRUDENVILLE – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Post are investigating an assault with intent to murder incident which occurred shortly before 8:30am yesterday, March 25.

Troopers responded to an address in Prudenville for a report of a 47-year-old male that had been stabbed multiple times.
When troopers and Roscommon County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene, they found a male victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim told officers that he was stabbed by his wife who had left the scene in the family vehicle.
