Prudenville man arrested for meth, brass knuckles

ROSCOMMON COUNTY – Michigan State Police (MSP) troopers announced the arrest of a Prudenville man for possession of meth and “brass knuckles.”

According to MSP reports, on on Aug. 31, at approximately 1:15 a.m. troopers from
MSP Houghton Lake Post conducted a traffic stop on M-55 near Springwood
Drive in Denton Township.

The driver, a 31-year-old man from Prudenville, was driving a vehicle with an expired registration plate and burned-out headlight. During the traffic stop, troopers found the driver to be in possession of metal “brass” knuckles, a small plastic bag of methamphetamine, and three Schedule IV pills he did not have a prescription for.

The driver was arrested and lodged in the Roscommon County Jail pending arraignment for carrying a concealed weapon, possession methamphetamine, and possession analogues.
