REGION- The Central Michigan District Health Department (CMDHD) is proud to announce that they are hosting a Free Food Distribution event on Thurs., Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. until all food supplies are distributed, at CMDHD’s Gladwin office, located at 103 N. Bowery Avenue.
“All community members are welcome to participate in this event, regardless of income or county of residency. The distribution will include a variety of food items to ensure that everyone has access to quality food. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, for their generous support in making this event possible,” said Steve Hall, CMDHD Health Officer.
Cars will be allowed to begin lining up at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Distribution will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring that those in need have an equal opportunity to benefit from this initiative. The event will continue until all the food is distributed. CMDHD encourages all members of the community who need assistance to attend this event.
All safety measures and social distancing protocols will be strictly observed throughout the distribution process to ensure the health and well-being of both beneficiaries and volunteers.
