Open house to discuss upcoming M-204 bridge work
in Lake Leelanau
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will have an informational open house meeting to provide an update on the final design and construction schedule for work on the M-204 bridge in Lake Leelanau.

BACKGROUND:
MDOT plans to replace the deck of the M-204 bridge in Lake Leelanau and widen it to allow construction of separated pathways on both sides of the bridge. The work will also include reconstructing the existing historic pedestrian railings, adding new railings, and improving bridge approaches.
This $1.7 million project is scheduled to start March 30 and be completed by July 18. Traffic will be maintained with a temporary traffic signal.
