A snowy Saturday didn’t stop the fun!

Easter egg hunt
Brooklynn is eager to count her eggs at the Beacon Assembly of God.

ROSCOMMON COUNTY- We woke up last Saturday morning to more snow than sunshine which put a slight hiccup in the Easter festivities that took place outside. That doesn’t mean the bunny didn’t show up for the kids!

The Roscommon airport hosted their annual “egg drop”, but due to weather conditions they could not fly the plane. Neighbors still gathered in full winter gear for bags of candy, coffee, cocoa, and donuts handed out by charitable volunteers. Photo opportunities with the Easter bunny and a tour of the local firetruck were also available for kids.

The Beacon Assembly of God also had a great turnout for their community event. Kids of all ages enjoyed the Easter baskets and egg hunting the generous church provided.
