GAYLORD — Continuing a long-standing commitment to local youth programs, the Gaylord Kiwanis Club recently donated $450 to support the Alpine Regional Tennis Association (ARTA), benefiting youth tennis clinics and countywide high school girls and boys teams.
Kiwanis members have long championed healthy, active opportunities for young people, recognizing their impact on both personal growth and community strength. That dedication has made the club one of ARTA’s most consistent and valued supporters.
ARTA President Anjuli Hawkins and girls high school tennis coach Jenn Boike recently met with Kiwanis members to share updates on the program’s successes. During the visit, Kiwanis President Kerry Elder presented the organization with the donation.
“For many years, the Gaylord Kiwanis Club has invested their fundraising dollars in ARTA,” Hawkins said. “We are deeply grateful for how those funds continue to support our mission of teaching the lifelong sport of tennis to youth throughout the county.”
