FAIRVIEW- Over 30 years of patience and love makes Heidi and Lloyd Bowman of Fairview our featured Valentine’s couple.
Loyd and Heidi met and became close friends in 1988, when Heidi was a Senior in high school. Loyd joined the Marine Corp. shortly after, and months of letters and cards turned their friendship into much more.
The couple married on June 1, 1996, and later welcomed two daughters to their family.
This coming September, the sweethearts will have been happily together for 34 years and married for 28.
Heidi lovingly notes, “I think that since our relationship was based on a good friendship, that has kept us a happy couple, not a perfect couple”.
