Robotics team kicks electrons

FAIRVIEW, MI – The Fairview High School Robotics team recently competed in its first event of the season in Petoskey. There were 28 qualifying matches and the school had one of its five teams advance, taking sixth place in the event out of 16. The team’s next meet is Jan. 8 at Jennison High School in Grand Rapids, followed by a Jan. 22 meet for both middle and high school teams. Mike Stone is the robotics coach, and a math teacher at Fairview Area Schools.
