Glow dance

By Isabella Barkholz (student)

HALE- At the end of April, the Hale PTO hosted a Glow Dance for kids in K-5th grade. Erica Bernard, Savannah Jones, Liz Wolanin, Briannah Sunde, Kayla Wolanin, Liam Schalk-Smith, Paxton Downing, Curtis Wolkens, and Rowan Hood assisted the Hale PTO with serving food, painting faces, selling tickets, and checking families into the dance.

The dance was on April 26, from 6 – 9 p.m. Liz Wolanin and Briannah Sunde were busy most of the evening with a line for face painting, while DJ Kevin kept the music lively. Families were able to enjoy fresh popped popcorn and cotton candy. Elementary student, Avery Orr, stated, “My favorite part was when the DJ played Gangnam Style, and Curtis danced to it, it was a really fun night. I would say especially the food because of the food.”
