HALE- Wrapping up the 2024 season of robotics, the Hale Robotics Team worked to give their best in competitions. Entering the competition with Liam Shalk-Smith as the driver, Ellery Coleman as the driver coach, and head coach, Joe Coleman, the team finished 7th at Lake City and 3rd at LSSU. Looking behind the face of the robot, the production of setting the robot up on the field would not have been possible without Mason Hendrickson as the team cart manager, Jack Alford, Brayden Vaneizenga, Elizabeth Wolanin, Peyton Hendrickson, and Brooke Sheldon as alternates for technician and human player.

Recognizing productions outside of the field, the drive team was backed by their scout team and pit management. Taking a lead in organizing the pit, Izzie Stephens worked to keep a clean workspace for the team. Getting an insight on the scout team, the role was divided amongst two focus areas: walking scouts and bleacher scouts. Taking charge of the walking scouts, Brooke Sheldon led the role of confronting other teams about their robots’ abilities. Assisting in this job included Curtis Wolkens, Rowan Hood, Elizabeth Wolanin and Peyton Hendrickson. Gathering information about other robots, this information was backed by data marked by bleacher scouts. Comparing data from bleacher scouts and inputting the data from viewing the matches was head scout Kayla Wolanin, backed by coach Steve Bradely.
