Michigan’s first all-female honor flight

REGION- The Honor Flight Network is a national organization with programs to transport Veterans across America to see their memorials.  

On June 11, more than 150 veterans made history when they completed the first flight of its kind, Michigan’s first all-female honor flight. The female veterans combined service amounts to 1,605 years. It was an emotional and heartwarming welcome home ceremony at The Bishop International Airport in Flint.

Regional Hubs, like Mid-Michigan Honor Flight, is just one of the programs available hoping to give all heroes a memorable and rewarding experience, FREE for the Veteran. Visit their website at www.honorflight.org for more details on programs.
