On October 12th Coleman Lions Club will be celebrating 79 years of service in the Coleman area with our Annual Charter Night Dinner and Auction. Games will start at 5:30 pm at the Coleman VFW Hall. The public is invited to this fun evening of good food, good company and exciting raffles, games, and auctions. The dinner will be a buffet from Jenny’s Catering in Shepherd, with 2 choices of meat, potatoes, vegetable, salads, rolls and dessert. Win a beautiful Multicolored Mixed Nine Patch Quilt made by Esther Gordon on our 100 Square Board, a Porch Heater & Propane Tank with the purchase of a key on our Door game, or a Winchester 12-gauge SXP Black Shadow from Jay’s Sporting Goods in our Card Draw. In addition, there are many other prizes available in our drawings, games, and auctions. We are pleased to have Colt Johnson auctioneering for us again this year!
Tickets are $15.00 each and can be purchased from any Coleman Lions Club member, or at C W Gordon’s Sales and Service in Coleman by October 4.
Coleman Lions Club is a volunteer service organization made up of service minded men and women interested in making a difference. Coleman Lions Club helps many local citizens with eye exams and new glasses. We also give scholarships to seniors, books to the library, and sponsor a Little League team. We sponsor the local Boy Scouts as well as the Coleman High School STAR Leo Club.
