Riverfest 2017 pics and highlights

ROSCOMMON – Jumping dogs, cardboard boats, fly tying, kids’ games and live music made for a successful Roscommon Riverfest at Wallace Park in Roscommon on July 9.

Mark Rais and Graeme Zaparzynski of Trout Unlimited set up a table to teach children (and adults) how to tie a wooly bugger. Each participant of the cardboard boat races was entered into a drawing for a kayak donated by Walmart of Houghton Lake. Wrapping the day up was Roscommon Rotary’ Great AuSable Duck Drop with Brian Ludwig winning the top prize of $1,000.
