The Grayling High School Players Present Robin Hood, Show a Success

By Noah Whittaker

GRAYLING–After countless hours of preparation and practice, the Grayling High School Players presented their latest work, Robin Hood. Despite a snowy weekend the show played to full houses and received high praise from all who saw it. The production ran nearly 3 hours and delivered many memorable performances.

Director Chad Patterson, now in his 6th consecutive year directing at GHS, said what he was most impressed with was the size of the cast. He recalled the first show he did

with Grayling High School had only 12 kids, some of which he had to “practically beg” to be in the play. Chad compared that first play to this production of Robin Hood. “This cast was 46, with crew and cast together there were 57 kids involved,” Chad said. “That is over ten percent of the student body involved in the play. These are kids that are involved in everything…They all came through and did a great job.”
