FREDERIC — Amazing prizes, live music family fun and new festival merchandise will be featured at the 2026 Frederic Music Festival, set for June 26–27 at Eagle Park in Frederic.

Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers will have opportunities to support the festival and Frederic Township Parks & Recreation while entering for a chance to win several prizes.

Featured prizes include an autographed Amon-Ra St. Brown Detroit Lions jersey, tickets to see Shinedown at Soaring Eagle Casino on July 11, a Grayling Country Club foursome for four players with 18 holes and a cart, and a Patriot Golf Course outing for two players with 18 holes and a cart. Many more prizes will also be available.

Children will have a special chance to win. Every child admitted to the festival will receive a free door prize ticket at the gate for a chance to win one of 12 bicycles.

Festival organizers thanked Extreme Power Sports of Gaylord & Hillman and Matt VanAtta for making the bicycle giveaway possible.

The festival will also offer kids’ apparel for the first time. Kids T-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts will be available for purchase at the merchandise booth. Children’s apparel has been one of the most requested festival items during the past few years.

Frederic, located north of Grayling in Crawford County, was settled in 1877, three years after Grayling was founded as Crawford Station.  Frederic was originally known as Forest and then Fredericville and was a “wooding-up” stop for the wood fired logging locomotives.
