Easter Egg hunt in Sand Lake

SAND LAKE – The Sand Lake Community Association, in partnership with Palomino Hope, is inviting local families to celebrate spring at a Kids Easter Party on Saturday, April 4, from 3-5 p.m.at 4059 Indian Lake Road in National City.

The event is designed as a fun, family-friendly afternoon that brings children and parents together for a day of community fellowship, Easter activities and outdoor fun. By hosting the event, the Sand Lake Community Association is helping create a place where area families can gather, visit with neighbors and enjoy a special holiday celebration close to home.

Children ages 0-12 years can look forward to a wide variety of activities, including crafts and games, face painting, refreshments, a bake sale, pony rides, an Easter Bunny appearance and a donkey kissing booth. The afternoon will also feature a 3:30 p.m.  Egg Hunt and a 4:30 Bike Drawing, giving youngsters even more to look forward to.

Organizers say the event is meant to offer something for the whole family while highlighting the community spirit that groups like the Sand Lake Community Association work to build. For more information, call (989) 820-5661.
