Lon Thomas Marsh, age 70, passed away on June 26, 2026 at MediLodge, Tawas City, Michigan. He was born December 24, 1955 at Fairchild AFB, Spokane, Washington, the son of Thomas and Joan (Duuck) Marsh.Lon joined the U.S. Coast Guard and in civilian life served several years as a seaman on international waters and the Great Lakes.He was a lover of animals and the outdoors and spent most of his life in the area of Oscoda, Michigan. Lon is survived by his wife, Mary Jo, mother, Joan, sister, Lori, son, Mathew and wife Amanda, daughter, Gretchen, stepdaughter, Amanda, grandchildren, Phoebe, Norah, Hunter, Madeline, Autumn and Riley and his furry best pal, Harley. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, and stepson, Jeremy.
