REGION– The Region 9 Area Agency on Aging will host a free Caregiver Empowerment and Wellness Conference on Thursday, April 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alcona County Commission on Aging in Lincoln.
The event will cover key topics including advance care planning, understanding dementia, and self-care for caregivers. Organizers say the conference aims to connect rural caregivers with valuable resources and support.
Open to family caregivers, direct care workers, and professionals, the conference includes complimentary breakfast and lunch, door prizes, and vendor exhibits.
