Get the scoop on Roscommon County water levels

ROSCOMMON – Roscommon County is hosting a presentation on lake level management.

According to an Aug. 5 statement from Clerk and Register of Deeds Michelle Stevenson, the session will cover key decisions, policies and environmental factors that have shaped current practices involving water levels in Higgins, Houghton Lake, and Lake St. Helen

The meeting will also provide valuable context and insight into the complex history of managing lake levels in the county. It will also highlight milestones, challenges and changes in managing lake levels, along with an update on future planning.

The presentation is scheduled for Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. in the commissioner’s meeting room at the Roscommon County Municipal Building, located at 500 Lake Street in Roscommon.
