Jim LaBo, 72, of Mio, Michigan passed away January 17, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family. Jim grew up in Rockwood, Michigan and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service . He and his wife moved to Mio in 2010 to enjoy their little cabin in the woods. Jim loved to hunt and fish as well as exploring the upper peninsula with his loving wife of 53 years Holly. But more than anything he loved to be around his family. Jim is survived by his wife Holly, daughter Heidi (Larry) Ratcliffe and his son Jimmy (Jenny) LaBo. Mother-in-law Shirley Hunt.Â
Siblings Dale, Donna, Lisa, Sue &John, Lee & Stacey, David & Sharion. He was the best Papa to his five grandchildren, Cody (Sara), Jake, Nick, Lauren, & Gavin.Â
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Avie LaBo, infant daughter Jennifer LaBo, sister Barb LaBo, and brother-in-law Brett Hunt.
