Firemans Memorial festival kicks off

Cathy, Bobbi and Makenzie from the Croton Township Fire Department in Newaygo County had some fun.

ROSCOMMON – The annual Fireman’s memorial festival Roscommon kicked off Thursday night.

Highlights Friday included the annual white parade. More than 30 firetruck and EMS vehicles from across the state participated in the event, which featured the vehicles traveling through town with only their lights on, as a way to honor the nation’s fallen firefighters.
