John Jeffrey Hirsch, 59, of Roscommon passed away on Saturday September 14, 2024 at his home.
John was born on February 9, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony and Christine (Mularski) Hirsch. He grew up in the Troy area where he graduated from Troy Athens High School. He later went on to receive his associates degree from ITT. John worked as a Controls Engineer for Webasto for several years. He had owned a place in Lyon Township, since 2010, and moved permanently to his Lyon Township home from Troy in 2021. John enjoyed fishing, gardening, and building stuff around the homestead. His passion was his cooking and especially his smoker, he made the best brisket around., and the best burgers and Mac-n- Cheese anywhere. John was always sharing his cooking and smoking expertise with family and friends.
Surviving Mr. Hirsch are his son, Jonathan Andrew Hirsch of Roscommon; his mother, Christine M. Hirsch of Troy; three sisters, Eileen (Michael) Clark of Remus, Susan (Kenneth) Brodzinski of Troy, and Sandra (Wesley) Magnan of Bear Lake; brother, Kenneth (Erin) Hirsch of Moorpark, CA; several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Thomas Hirsch.
Family Celebration of Life Services will be held for John Jeffrey Hirsch at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of John are asked to be directed to the family.
