Mrs. Cindy Lou Cameron-Thompson, 70 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly on August 27, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. She was born in Hillman, Michigan on May 17, 1953 to the late Donald and Georgina (Pfeiffer) Cameron. She has resided in Hillman for the last 7 years, formerly of Colorado. She was a graduate of Hillman High School class of 1971. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature and tending to her peach orchards and grapes that grew in her yard. She also enjoyed crocheting, listening to country music, walking, dancing, and animals. She is and will be deeply missed.
Cindy is survived by her siblings; Barbara Powell of Hillman, Kenneth Cameron of Flint, Sue (Bob) Frick of Hillman, Dan (Janet) Cameron of Hillman, Teena Cook of Johannesburg, Kevin Cameron of Hillman; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; and stepdaughter, Rebecca of Traverse City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Georgina Cameron, husband, Jim, and sister, Donna.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of Cindy’s life at a later date.
