Robert R. ‘Rob’ Leedy

Robert R. ‘Rob’ Leedy, age 63, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Rob was born on February 27, 1953 in Grayling, Michigan to R.N. and Eva (Sanderson) Leedy. Rob lived most of his life in the Houghton Lake area. He married Susan Burnett 33 years ago in Houghton Lake. He retired from Consumers Energy in January 2010. He enjoyed duck hunting, hunting, bird camp, motorcycles, four wheeling and wood working.

Rob is survived by his loving wife Susan Leedy of Houghton Lake; parents, R.N. and Eva Leedy of Houghton Lake; brothers, Thomas (Erica) Leedy of Merritt, and James (Rebekah) Leedy of Houghton Lake; sister, Vicky Barrios of South Dakota; daughter-in-law, Adrienne Groat of Wixom; and granddaughter, Abby Grout of Wixom and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Ryan Earegood and his in-laws; Jack and Patty Burnett.

A Celebration of Life Services is scheduled for Friday, January 6, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
