GRAYLING – The Charlton Heston Academy Patriots struggled in a loss putting up just 14 points against Pickford on Friday, Sept. 16.
Patriots Coach Steve Bednarik said he is proud of the effort the kids are putting in.
‘The kids are all sticking in there. They’re showing up every day and working hard,’ Bednarik said.
The Patriots scored twice in the game: The first was on a 73-yard kickoff return by Nathaniel Desnyder . Brogan Harger later scored on a 7-yard touchdown from Anthony Peters.
Peters let the team with nine tackles. Marshall Danson had eight tackles; Daniel Ferguson has seven, Harger had six and Luke Richardson had five tackles.
The Patriots (1-3) travel to Onaway on Friday, Sept. 23.
