HALE – This year’s 2022 middle school girls’ basketball team had a mixture of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Angie Merritt and Ryan Parkinson were this year’s coaches. The girls won a total of 4 games this season. The girls brought a bunch of competitiveness this year. The girls were fun and showed a ton of improvement from the beginning to the end of the season. Coach Angie and Ryan stated that Payton Kesler, and Peyton Johnson really stood out with the 6th graders this year. In order for the girls to improve for the next basketball season, they need to be consistent and keep up with their skills to get better. Overall, the girls had a successful season, and the coaches are excited to see what new opportunities open up for the girls next year.
