HALE – The 2022 Middle school’s boys’ basketball team consisted of all 8th graders. This year’s coaches were Jayme Nichols, Jerud Kimmerer, and Mike Koepke. This year’s team ended the season with three wins. All the boys took a step forward as players. They learned a lot this year, and they all improved tremendously throughout the season. Coach Jayme stated that his favorite part of the season was practicing. He loves going to practice with the team, working on their craft, and learning to improve. The coaches believe the team can improve for next year by practicing this summer. Playing as much basketball as possible is important. Putting the work and effort in is needed to be successful. As most of the team was super young, it was a great learning experience for everyone. The boys now know the expectations of themselves moving forward in this sport.
