Hale’s 2022 volleyball season recap

Hale volleyball team
Lady Eagles celebrating a successful block

By: Aurora Brito

HALE – After a devastating loss against the AuGres-Sims at districts in Hale, the Eagles Volleyball season has officially come to an end.  The Lady Eagles put up a good fight that lasted four games.  This was a season filled with wins and losses resulting in a record of 6 and 10.  The season progressively got better as the team grew closer with each other.  When everyone started to be more trusting with one another, working as a team became easier, and so did winning.  There was visible improvement with the team, especially when freshman Ali Beebe was brought up mid-season.  She ended up being an asset to the Lady Eagles.  As this season has come to an end, many are looking forward to next year’s season.  Season awards were as follows: Captains: Dalaney Kimmerer, Chloe Bernard, and Kaitlyn Hollis; Eagle Award: Chloe Bernard; Most Improved Player: Arianna Koepke; Most Valuable Player: Ali Beebe.  Ali Beebe also received 2nd Team All-Conference.
