EAST TAWAS – Get ready to move, laugh, and celebrate wellness at one of East Tawas’ most anticipated summer events July 12!
Hosted by Tawas Wellness Warriors in partnership with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce, this energizing race event offers something for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for a stroll.
Choose your pace: a chip-timed 10k run, a lively 5k run, or a relaxed 5k walk through the beautiful streets of East Tawas. All races start and finish at The Collective, located at 821 Newman St., with convenient overflow parking at the East Tawas Community Center.
The 10k kicks off at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5k run and walk at 9 a.m.. Stick around for the medal ceremony at 10:15 a.m. and celebrate with your fellow racers and community members!
Pre-registration is available online—just click “Sign Up” to secure your spot. Can’t register online? No problem! Join us the day before for in-person registration and packet pickup from 12-6 p.m. at Tawas City Shoreline Park. Race day packet pickup and last-minute registration runs from 7:30–8:45 a.m. at The Collective.
Awards will be given to top male and female runners overall and by age group, and top overall walkers. All races are chip-timed by A2 Race Management for accuracy and excitement.
T-shirts will be given to the first 150 registered participants—so don’t wait! Strollers are welcome. For safety, we ask that you leave pets and bikes at home.
All proceeds from this family-friendly event support the Tawas Wellness Warriors and the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce, helping expand wellness opportunities throughout Iosco County.
